The Fusilier Bar & Restaurant

Ever thought perhaps , it would be nice to have a takeaway that is different from your Chinese or Indian. How about some good old English type food... well I have ... and found the Fusiliers. . Used them a few times for lazy Sunday roast , and always pleased . Any way . Daughter was ordering a Valentines special , and suggested we had a go. After 47 years of marriage , well , we haven’t bothered for years , but an excuse for a meal ! Ordered , it arrived and it exceeded expectations realising that it was coming from Aingers Green , we would have to Zap it , which we did. Well , considering this , it was faultless without zapping . The potatoes were if they had come straight from our Kitchen , and the chicken with mushroom sauce was to die for . The mange tout was actually green and perfectly cooked . Desert apple crumble with custard was fantastic. Wel done Fusiliers .

We had a lovely meal, couldn't fault it at all. It's great to have such a great restaurant & so local. The staff were very attentive & Covid systems & social distancing were followed very well. I'd recommend The Fusilier & can't wait to go back & have another meal & one of their fabulous looking desserts, I never had room for!

First time visit today, and wow I was impressed. Delicious food, generous portion sizes, friendly staff. I'll definitely be back.

Specially went in for the game pie but had sold out..Had the burger & chips instead which was really nice..Hopefully I’ll be able to get my pie next time..
