The best way to describe the food is super posh carvery! There are always a good selection of dishes to choose from, and if you give prior notice they will cater for fussy eaters. The desserts are amazing, I have been here a few times now, and the one to go for is the cheesecake it is to die for. There are some lovely walks from the pub so it possible to make day of it. Its truly one of Suffolk's hidden gems.

This is a great place for a “Carvery” type meal. Lots of choice, roasts and made dishes all of excellent quality. Relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff. Good choice of drinks that are reasonably priced. Our great grandchildren are well catered for as are the family vegetarians. Booking recommended.
Food and staff service was great. Could not fault them. Very friendly and welcoming.
The food here is absolutely wonderful, and it's always such a warm welcome from David. He really embodies what it is to be a great host, and I'm sure this only adds to the charm and atmosphere of this place. The food itself is a mixture of the best of British, with some game dishes you are unlikely to find anywhere else. If you're in the area, this is a must visit restaurant!
