Not been in a chippy for ages. Wife wanted a chicken burger. Told the very friendly cook as much. He said he'd make it a great burger so we come back more often. She said it was excellent. I had a nigh-on perfect king rib. Now I might get more chippy dinners. Surely that's worth 6 stars?

Decent fish and chips, well priced too. One of very few places that actually has real pieces of fish in the fish cakes rather than just mush!

Without doubt the worst chipper I’ve ever been in.... I’m from Beauly and tried it a few times to give it benefit of doubt but it’s just horrendous... Muir of Ord chipper is in a different league, twice the portion and quality for the same money.... Anyone leaving a positive review is clearly a tourist who’s never been to a proper chipper before....
