Why are they called The Friar? Because they are experts at what they do. First found this place on Bonfire night and was amazing, with trepidation went in lockdown.... nothing to be worried about - beautifully fried chips and fish by The Friar.

Great portion of really tasty fish and chips. No frills, just great affordable food.
Best chips I've had in ages- just the right crispness rather than a soggy mess like others! Portion size v generous too. Staff really friendly too- a highly recommended propr chippy!
