Take away Afternoon Tea for 2 was delicious. Would be nice to publish menu online or put a printed one on the bag. We're still debating what flavours were in each pastry.

The French Tarte have cracked the recipe for the best Almond Croissants in the world (I think!). I detest the smell of Almond extract as I find it too strong. In most of the almond croissants the almond paste is never perfect. Too strong smell and strong non-uniform taste. I dread experiencing the gush of this unpleasant taste while trying almond croissants at a number of cafés. I was awestruck when I ate the almond croissants at The French Tarte; so much that I ignored the sugar (I don't do that often) and went on to savour a second. The French Tarte of course do one of the scrummiest Tarts. Their Pear and chocolate tarts are my favorite. I love their flat white too; and unlike serving in a small cup, they serve Flat Whites in the Latte cups. You will have a lovely start for your day if you start it with a French Tarte coffee and an almond croissant. One more thing to note - they run out of these croissants pretty quickly so if you decide to have one, queue up early.
So lucky to have this on our doorstep. Impressed by how they've coped with Covid
Had an amazing Shashuka for brunch. It was delicious. However they do not serve it with toasts but we ordered some. Coffee was nice. Road was quite busy but at least we got a table to sit down.
Reasonable price and great cake. Always having best tea time during lockdown with French Tarte's cake. Thanks for opening during lock down.
