Had the most amazing Sunday roast today at The Fox... only popped in for a pint but the aroma was intoxicating so we couldn't resist. Lovely food, ale and atmosphere too. Highly recommend.

Just finished a Sunday roast takeaway for 4 people from the fox. Was absolutely delicious with generous portions. I was a little concerned that the food might not be at its best when I got home due to living 15 mins away. But The Fox had packaged the food so that it could be easily popped in the oven on return - funnily enough as I unpacked I realised the food was still plenty warm enough anyway! We just warmed the gravy through. The roasties and Yorkshire’s were still crisp, and the cauliflower cheese was amazing!
Had an amazing takeaway sandwich for lunch here yesterday. Portions were huge and it was so cheap we couldn’t believe it. Staff were so pleasant and helpful and the shop was also very well stocked with lots of local supplies again reasonably priced and great quality! We will definitely be back, hopefully we can sit in next time!
Just got home with a takeaway. The steak and ale pie is excellent and tastes and looks homemade. My daughter had a Thai curry which is equally good.
Dropped our car off to a nearby garage and popped in hear at the fox Inn and what a lovely surprise with great food and service
