Although its in a very famous and busy place we've been waiting for a while until someone actually noticed us by the entrance table even the member of the staff been passing by without a courtesy of informing us that someone will be with us shortly to take our orders. Service very slow as we've been waiting for two drinks more then 5 minutes and almost the same time to be noticed well i had to shout hello so woman behind the bar could actually kindly see us. Thanks god it wasn't busy as the customers behind me seeing such a slow service decided to go elsewhere rather than wait for ages to be served. Don't blame them

Great pub right on the village green. Decent selection of beers including Moretti, hop house, Amstel & tribute pale ale. Had the pork roast on a Sunday which was really good topped with crispy crackling. Bakewell tart cheese cake was also delicious and a decent espresso to wash it all down. Staff were all friendly and smiling, what more can you ask for!
Nice place, service was at a glacial pace and the food meal we had was incredibly ordinary. The staff gave on an air of 'too busy to talk to you' with sharp/clipped instructions or statements. I found it a charmless experience.
The most amazing food and drinks. Friendly attentive staff and brilliant service. The owners are very welcoming and have time to chat. Highly recommend The Fox.
Most beautiful little village in the east of England had a lovely meal at the fox inn before great food and excellent service. I also had tea and scone next door which was delicious. Weekends in the summer bring hundreds of bikers.
