Our family of five went for dinner on 24th August while we were holidaying in the area bit worried as it was busy but we were made room for. Amazing food I had lamb mince suet pudding which was fantastic, hubby had seafood platter which he loved, children all had burgers, all lovely fresh cooked food, such a refreshing change from other places we have been to recently. Staff were lovely, very impressed with the folliwing covid policy, all in all a fantastic place will deffinatly go again when in the area.

Great historic seaside pub with lots of rooms to cater for all types of patrons. Lovely beer gardens, great selection of beers and spirits. Next to the alluring “gin corner” there’s a shelf paying homage to Scotland’s 120-plus whisky distilleries, as well as one from Wales. In short: a place to escape to when you’re feeling blue, for a glass of something medicinal – whatever your poison. And famous for being the venue William Blake wrote the first lines of Jerusalem and was also arrested for sedition.
Great old building, excellent food and efficient, friendly adherence to Covid 19 regulations. Pleasant pub garden. Real ale available.
Lovely pub with a nice beer garden and a great location
Really nice place, with an amazing and dog friendly beer garden and really friendly staff. Had a very tasty meal and both hubby and I agreed we'd definitely be back soon.
