We have been many times in the past. Nice restaurant, good food, good service, friendly staff... Now back during Covid19 pandemic... No cares no track and trace... Scant observance of Covid19 advice. Staff don't seem to understand about social distancing. Only time hand sanitizer was given when bill was presented and I asked to pay by card and obviously the bill was higher than the new 45 contactless payment. The wireless card reader was picked up from a communal shelf near the serving hatch and brought over to me unsanitized I entered my card and pin and was provided with a bottle of sanitizer to clean my hands after using their unsanitized device. No staff equipped with face coverings no one way system. We were the only people who wore face coverings on entry or exit. Covid19 outbreak imminent no suggestion we complied with track and trace. They didn't even remember taking our booking, though to.be fair they had my wife's mobile number recorded in their diary. Sorry was a nice restaurant. But we would advise in current climate give them a wide berth.

We had the Seafood Platter for two, it was delicious. Friendly atmosphere and lovely staff, highly recommended. Also dog friendly (bar area) so will bring the pup next time :)

One of a number of pubs I have been in since being allowed to do so. As is the case wherever you go in these times you enter any pub or similar looking for various pointers such as - which direction do I need to go in, do I approach the bar, where are the track and trace details kept and what do I need to do, and so it goes on. In the case of The Fox Hole then no need to worry, you can walk where you please and in any direction, no need to register track and trace details, go up and down the narrow corridor to the toilets as you please. Pandemic - what pandemic! You are safe as houses at The Fox Hole! Shame - as it is a very nice place, but not going back until the world has sorted itself, there are safer places to be!
Lovely welcoming staff , great food & service..seafood plater was yum.
