Had an absolutely gorgeous meal this week at the Fox & Hounds in the outside marquee. The staff were really friendly and attentive and we felt very safe. We had a mixed starter and mains of steak and a burger. All really delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit. Make sure you take something to keep you nice and toasty whilst you enjoy your meal if you're outside.

Exceptional! Without doubt the best meal you will have in Cheshire. This is essentially fine dining in a pub setting. The staff are fantastic, its evident that they are highly trained in customer service and standards. The setting is incredibly homely, comfortable and incredibly clean. The menu is fantastic with a wide section of foods but not so much you are overfeed with choice. Its clear these guys have done their research as to what people want from a meal. Its also great value with the average per person cost of 25 for a starter, main and a drink which for good food is reasonable. Would I recommend.... Yes 100%
Oh my word! Have just been to Pie Heaven! We really were spoiled for choice with the superb menu but opted for the pies. My husband had Steak Pie and I had Cheese & Onion Pie. They were enormous! The filling was delicious and filled the pastry completely - none of that disappointment felt previously in other establishments, whereby you cut into it to find a miserable layer of filling skulking at the bottom. I had to admit defeat tho as I couldn't finish it but the kind waitress offered to put the remainder in a box to take home . The pie came with lovely chips and 3 perfectly cooked veg - Tenderstem Broccoli, carrots and mange tout. The level of hygiene care shown by Staff, and the distancing of tables gave us confidence in dining there. Highly recommended. Tip: If you choose a pie skip the starter!
Looked after us very well good covid safety in place. Food great. Best steak and ale pie ever!
Food was great but what really made our experience was the customer service. Rachel our waitress was amazing! She was friendly and super helpful.
