My sisters burger looked amazing. I'll have ut next time. I chose the chicken noodle salad. It was only OK. But staff were nice. And a brilliant fire pit outside. Lovely buildng and gardens. Nice location.
Lovely meal. My mixed seafood starter was particularly tasty. The only reason it isn't a five star is because we were left for ages after we had finished our meal waiting for our bill.
I visited The Fox and Goose with a group of friends. The atmosphere of the pub was cosy and relaxing. The staff were very attentive and friendly. All thr food was delicious and worth the money paid. The prices are on the higher end of the scale for pub food but the quality and taste of the food is worth every penny. Highly recommended!
Really, really good food. Excellent presentation and service, with the beef brisket winning the day. Chicken pie was lovely too and all the specials on the board sounded great. Only let down was the cheeky way our order was taken - it's not a big deal but I was offered mushy or regular peas with my dish giving the assumption they were part of it and included; not an extra/side option (I hadn't seen them as an extra). When the bill came I was disappointed that the manager who took our order wasn't upfront about it as I genuinely thought they came with the plate. Otherwise, nice experience overall.
