We had a lovely meal here today. Visited around 2.30pm and we had a two course meal. The food was hot and fresh and came in good time. We were in the area and I searched Google maps for dog friendly restaurants and this pub came up. We have passed quite a few times and have commented how we would like to visit one day! We had a warm welcome and we sat at a large table across from the open fire with room for our dog. They have dog bowls and water to use at the entrance. We even managed to order a burger for the pooch. Would definitely recommend and will be back for a visit very soon! Xx

Lovely looking pub with great food and great staff. I visited for the first time today with someone who's been before who recommended it. The ambience is perfect, the music not too loud. The staff were attentive but not overbearing and we didn't have long to wait for service. The food was lovely, a bit more special than your typical run of the mill gastro pub. Definitely one I'd visit again.

Dining here every evening for a week while staying in the Premier Inn over the car park it was impossible to get bored with the selection of meals available on the extensive menu which includes hearty, comforting meals to light and refined salads and everything in between. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is prompt. The house burger was one of the best burgers I've had!

Had my first experience of tasting authentic British cuisine here. Outdoor and indoor seating, we experienced both. The ambience was pleasant with mostly local folk. Went with the 3 course which was delicately plated and delicious. My friend and I ordered ciders which were great! Definitely looking forward to visit again! Seemingly pet-friendly with a lot of pet owners.
