Had the best meal for a long time for my 40th tonight. Thank you so much to the staff who were spot on - friendly helpful and attentive when needed. I had crispy moreish squid followed by a perfectly cooked medium sirloin. But actually the best thing for me was the soft warm herby bread rolls with garlic butter. Our whole party was super pleased with every course, will be back for more!!

Met my best friend there for Sunday Lunch yesterday. Roast lamb was delicious and plenty of it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The pub itself is lovely. Tables well spaced and COVID regulations in place. It was nice to see that it was still busy and felt somewhat normal as Sunday pub lunches go. Will definitely be back!
Sadly both the table and tray with the cutlery on felt sticky (probably due to all of the enhanced cleaning efforts) which made us feel a bit grim, not helped by the slimy hand gel at the entrance. Nice fire though and the staff were friendly to their customers.
Good pub in Nice location. 6.50 a pint. Great service, we had good fish and chips and fish burgers. Not the cheapest but still a good time and nice environment. Fish and chips 14.50
Good service, nice staff. The real ale has not been so good of late as it was in recent years. The Pride wasn't entirely on song today, and the only alternative was Landlord. However, the service is good and the staff are polite and friendly.
