Lovely food (especially the scallops)
No food on a Sunday evening, but the Tribute ale was in fine condition on this occasion (why are they not on the Cask Marque Ale Trail?) Well attended by locals and the landlord holding court with amusing topics of conversation. But....now this is interesting. On a second visit the following day, I'm stopped at the door - I can't come in without ordering food. They are not doing food - ergo, I can't come in. How did all the other people inside get in? It must be my English accent
Very quaint pub. Food was very nice and much better value than nearby establishments. Very friendly bar staff. Well worth a visit.
