Just had a takeaway from here due to Covid. Had Chicken Kiev, Whitby Scampi and Sweet Chili Chicken. Absolutely brilliant food can't recommend enough. We will definitely be returning. Do your bit to try and support local businesses during this difficult time, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Fantastic countryside pub, the perfect place to start or end a stroll around the stunning Yorkshire countryside which surrounds the pub
Visited for lunch today for the first time. Very warm and friendly welcome. Clear and clean safe distancing in place. Our food was absolutely spot on. We enjoyed the smoked haddock, spring onion and cheese fishcake starter. Our mains of three cheese and leek pie for me and belly pork for the hubby was out off this world. Both were real good portions and worth every penny. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the chips! Mmmmm proper chips you can taste (not airy fairy oven chips) I believe this is a new venture for the owners and wish you every success! We really are looking forward to returning very soon. Thank you for a really enjoyable experience
Called in for a late lunch. Very friendly welcome. Nice rooms to eat in with different table layouts. Some have lovely views. The Inn is decorated to a very high standard and is spotlessly clean. We had lovely meals. Highly recommended.
Visited today for lunch with my husband. Totally Covid 19 compliant which made us feel safe. Food and service were excellent. Portion sizes ample. Some items on the menu have the option of smaller portions which is great when you fancy a dessert. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. We will visit again.
