Thank you Flying Elephant for our first takeaway from you last week. If you like Indian, Punjabi, Desi food, then try this restaurant. Delicious food, generous portions and very reasonably priced. Plenty of vegetarian options and non-halal meat dishes. We will definitely be ordering again.

First time visit and food was great. Large mixed grill was cooked and flavoured well alongside Mogo chips that are highly recommended. Group of us enjoyed the curries, particularly the butter chicken.
Good and friendly people, food wise not sure if that's meet my expectations as I have heard a lot about them and was recommended quite lot.
Have been a few times to the flying elephant and have always enjoyed the food. However my most recent take away was a massive disappointment, the order was incorrect after reading it back to the guy on the phone, things were missing and they had given us extra and charged us for things we didn’t order ( not realizing until arriving home ). Then once we ate the food we had ordered it was extremely spicy which it has never been before as we always have the same order... to a point where it was unfortunately unedible. This is a real shame for us as we won’t be returning to the flying elephant due to this poor experience.
Rang on the 30th August to book a table for 8 people. Then more family members decided to join us so we rang and asked to change the table from 8 people to 13, plus 2 babies which they happily advised would be accomdated. we specifically requested a table which would provide room for 2 pushchairs. On arrival the table had only been set up for 8 people, when requested if we could move to a larger table we were told no and could only add a small table on the end. This subsequently meant the social distancing requirements were not met. The member of staff we discussed our concerns with was extremely rude and abrupt considering this was a mistake made on their part. Furthermore, the table we had been provided with was in the corner next to the TV and very loud speaker which caused a problem throughout the meal as it consistently disturbed our 5 month old baby. I then rang my sister and advised her not to come as there was no more room. Now on to the food. The food was terrible. I don't normally leave reviews but the way I was spoken to was quite frankly, rude. The only positive was the young waiter and waitress that were very attentive.
