Lovely unspoilt pub with good pub grub and well-kept real ales, incl local ale. Run by v friendly and kind couple. Log fire, cosy decor and very comfortable inside.

Absolutely love this pub, visited about 4weeks ago and definitely had to revisit again, Food was lovely and the beer was top class, the highlight for me was how friendly the staff were especially during these difficult times and Harriot was absolutely brilliantly pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to come back.
Lovely little pub in a gorgeous village. Decorated beautifully, serves good drinks selection and great hosts. Didn't eat as it only does lunches.
Stumbled upon this place after a steady 10 mile circular walk around Stanton Moor. Was greeted by the most friendly landlord I have possibly ever met! A cracking chap with alot of interesting chat about the area. Lovely setting both inside and out. Great selection of beers, bars snacks and its also dog friendly!! Will be visiting again soon!
