Well...where do we start? One of the worst dining experience of my life...not for the food in itself...food deserves 4 stars.. it’s good,unpretentious comfort food...but for the unwelcoming, rude treatment that the moody landlord has reserved us. I have never felt uncomfortable in a restaurant in 45 years...but heyho...you try to help a local independent pub and you get treated like you’re totally not wanted there. No interaction, engagement with us at any time...to the point that it got pretty embarrassing when we couldn’t find our way out of the pub(one way system on our first and last time at the pub)..and the landlord(after settling the bill) and the local customer left us wondering around and keep doing the loop inside until...lost all hopes to find the exit...we had to ask...and then we were met with such a dislike for asking...AWFUL experience...if you struggle with your mental health and you are looking for some human connection...Please avoid ...AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!

Nice little pub, with a beer garden. Dog friendly (garden is fenced so they can wander freely). Food is good (try the lamb kebab!) and they cater for vegans and allergies etc. Staff are friendly and polite!
Visited this lovely pub recently and couldn't be more amazed. The setting is so picturesque and the garden and marquee are beautiful. The pub accepts dogs which is always a sign of a welcoming and inclusive pub. On entering I was welcomed by friendly staff and smiling faces, which is a good start. We were seated and served professionally. The range of choice on the menu is extensive and all dietary requirements are covered, which is very rare. The food was gorgeous and very flavoursome. I felt safe at all times as the management had taken all precautions. Inside is so quirky, you can not get bored of looking around the place. Do not be put off by the negative comments, go and visit or yourself, you will not be disappointed.
Top quality food which is mostly vegan or vegetarian.
The takeaway food is SO delicious, I couldn't recommend it more. A huge bonus that they're so good for gluten free too - I could eat the cider battered fish and chips everyday!
