I just wanted to leave a review of the beautiful and well managed Flowers care home. My mother is at the care home and I can not thank the staff enough, they treat her with dignity and I can not thank them enough for that. This is more than just care, her room and all areas of the care home are absolutely spotless clean all the staff are happy and always have a smile on their face. They really couldn’t do more for my mum and us as a family, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for looking after mum and making us as a family feel comfortable and happy knowing she is very well looked after.

I chose The Flowers Care Home for my grandmother because of the outstanding care I saw being given to the residents when I visited there 11 months ago and I have not been disappointed since. The rooms are clean and spacious, the food is all cooked fresh and the residents are always very happy. There are lots of displays that show the activities that the residents have taken part in and there is always something going on to keep the residents entertained. Since my grandmother moved in, I have not been disappointed with the level of care shown to her. My grandmother is very settled and happy and this is down to the commitment and care of the staff. The communication from the staff to myself is excellent, I am kept completely up to date on my grandmother's health and welfare. I couldn’t have picked a better home for my grandmother and cannot thank whole team enough.
Having my grandma reside at The Flowers was one of the best decisions we ever made as a family. She is looked after by a very loving team who treat her with the upmost care and respect. The team really do care for her and the other people at The Flowers. This level of care is a weight off our shoulders, it's as if me and the rest of the family are looking after her. The passion that the team have for her are second to none. This goes right up to the managing director Sally, who has so much passion for the service that they provide. This really is humbling and has enabled us as a family to truly not worry about how grandma is treated. She has great access to things to do, has superb and varied meals, interacts with other residents in the home, plus there is lots going on including outings. If the weather is nice then she can even eat Al fresco. We looked at a number of care homes and whilst The Flowers is the furthest distance, it ticked more boxes. We couldn't be happier. The Flowers really is a beautiful and homely care home. It is like a home from home. There is even a small pub area and a shop. My grandma loves it here and I can see why. If I have to be looked after in a care home then I would want it to be The Flowers. If you are reading this as a member of staff who works there then you should be proud of how great you are. A big thank you to Sally who has been great since day one and who clearly runs a great team of loving and dedicated carers for my grandma. We as a family honestly can't thank you enough.
Flowers Care Home is a very welcoming, happy and caring environment. It has lovely large communal grounds and the home is fresh, calm and inviting compared to other home's I've visited. The staff here are worth there weight in gold in terms of duty of care, hard working but above all each have their own personal touch with the needs of each resident taken into consideration. My mother-in-law has spent respite in a number of care homes over the past 5 years. We have tried lots in Halifax and in the local area. After every one she had major problems after her stay in all of them. It took weeks to get her back to her normal state of health. She has Alzheimer's and is 90 years old. Recently we heard about The Flowers and we maganged to get her booked in. She has been there twice and returned home in the same condition as she left. No infections, no dehydration, no urine infections, no Sepsis, just as happy as she can be. We cannot say enough thanks to Sally and her team for their diligent care and attention. So much so that I wrote this for YOU. If your loved ones with Alheimer's / Dementia / Old Age have not enjoyed the wonderful care given at The Flowers and have instead received the mediocre treatment generally available - then do them a FAVOUR.
