Top place and fantastic service. Went here for the first time last night after waiting a while for it to open. The restaurant is really nice and the service is amazing. Lots of staff asking if you needed anything and taking orders. Also telling you your food will be out in a few moments. Really impressed with the service. The food was also amazing. Great favours and well presented food. Can wait to come back

Food was delicious. Great that it's locally sourced. Only minor comment to note is the acoustics in the building make it quite noisy but others may feel this adds to the ambience

Really enjoyed the food. Top class starters and mains. Puddings were very good, but not quite the same excellence e.g. sticky toffee pudding could have had a little bit of crunch too

Amazing new Staffordshire restaurant! Our first visit to The Flintlock at Cheddleton did not disappoint. We began with some signature cocktails in the chic lounge area whilst browsing the food menu and choosing wine form their impressive selection. Soon we were shown to our table in the elegant yet cosy dining room. All the staff were very friendly and super attentive. A nice surprise was the complementary homemade bread and butter, often my favourite part of any fine dining restaurant! For starters we chose the venison & Black pudding scotch egg and the crab & celeriac salad, both dishes were superb and the flavours were incredible. Mains were Duck breast with onion tatre tatin and Hake with curried scallops (one of the best fish dishes I've ever had). Again both dishes were stunning and showcased fresh ingredients paired with a talented team of chefs. For desert we had chocolate delice and sticky toffee pudding, the perfect end to a sensational meal. To round off the evening we retired to the upstairs lounge and sampled some more of the amazing cocktails on offer. I would highly recommend the Flintlock and we have already booked our next table. Foodies will not be disappointed!
