Good beer. Nice terrace overlooking the harbour. We visited during the restrictions and they do follow the rules. People were turned away and also asked to sit. Nice friendly staff.

They adhered to the new covid rules on a quiet Monday night and told us where we could sit outside, unfortunately they decided once we had a seat to forget about us, we waited 15 minutes to be fair to them during tricky times and never got asked what we'd like to drink, once other customers in there slated their service we were off, 15 minutes and no one asking what we'd like to drink after seating us, it was dead inside the pub The beer garden views were great but I question their business model or their recruitment, aren't pubs meant to sell beer?

Great being outside, overlooking Whitby harbour. Friendly service. Kids were welcomed even though it was \after hours\. Good range of beers and we'll kept. Didn't try the food but appears to be a well run pub!
Nice little pit stop on the way into Whitby. 40minute parking right outside or paid car park right next to it although it gets v full. It is free after 6pm though. Simple food at the moment due to covid but good for the kids with super views on the terrace. Friendly staff and some nice beers on tap and massive gin selection.
