Lovely little pub tucked away in the village, nice atmosphere and the home made pies are to die for. Especially the steak & kidney pudding, John the landlord is a good laugh and always has a good story.

What a delightful little find! Real owners who interact with guests and make you feel extremely comfortable. Service was so amazing the food was just about cooked to order when we were ready for the next course. Couldn't fault it. No wonder why the locals continue to return. Highly recommended.
Really great pub, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The couple running it are absolutely wonderful and I can't fault the place. They only do takeaway food at the moment due to covid and it needs to be pre-ordered but it's well worth doing.
What a great place to stop for lunch! Just by chance we stumbled across the Pub heading to the Alpaca Trekking down the road. I would highly recommend the sandwiches with a homemade mustard and bowl of chips to share... of course. The staff were great and so happy to help, even suggested melted cheese in my sandwich which was an absolute winner! Cant wait to return to try an evening meal next time I am up this way!
