Very friendly PUB they do a great Sunday lunch.
After long walk called in for a drink. The landlady was very welcoming and we spent a lovely late afternoon here. The pub is also dog friendly so we didn't have to sit outside. The drinks were good and the locals friendly. We stayed a lot longer than planned chatting and drinking and are pooch was well looked after too. A great find!
Still the best pint of Bateman's beer for miles around! Amazing beer, amazing atmosphere, a home from home, but with great beer!
It's a fabulous village pub. No questions the centre of village life in all its forms.
