Just moved to the area, and read about this place so had been keen to try it. It certainly lives up to the reputation! Thanks so much for squeezing our order in on a busy weekend. The fish platter was divine, such tasty prawns/crevettes/salmon/mackeral/crab/mousse/crayfish, and we also had some really fresh delicious oysters alongside it. Yum! Generous helpings - kept us going for two days. Highly recommend - we'll be back. Thank you!

Bought some clams and Hake yesterday and wasn't disappointed. Good service, pre-ordered beforehand for the clams and will be going again.

My new favourite shop!! I queued for an hour and it was -4oC. That should tell you all you need to know. Well over half the people had branded cool bags so are obviously regulars. I was assured this queueing was as a result of valentine's day an not the norm. The selection was huge, the staff were lovely and so helpful and the prices were so much more reasonable than I was expecting. Also really impressed with all the covid measures in place.

Saw this plaice (sorry for the cheap gag) on a tv show. Wanted something special for my wife's birthday...and I got it. Staff are so welcoming, which is a bit of a throwback, a positive one. Make sure you know what you want before you go as you will be spoiled for choice.
