This is a REAL pub. Traditional, cozy and perfect for everyone. Staff are always so friendly and there is usually an open fire in the winter. (they have a 'snug room' too, which is lovely but they need to light the fire in there more often ). The beer garden area is beautiful - themed around the old railway station. Everything about this pub is absolute class - a real old English-style public house. Probably my favourite pub!

This is a twee little pub found on the outskirts of Southwell. If, like me, you like pubs with a bit of old fashioned character then this is the place for you. It has an old railway theme which is rather fun. Award winning for its range of cask real ales and ciders, it's a beer drinkers paradise. It does food but it's on the basic side but fresh and fully acceptable. Give it a try!
Lovely pub, outside area is cool without being tacky (setup like a train platform). Reasonable selection of drinks for average prices.
