The best pub food I've come across in Gosport so far. The mixed bean chilli was hearty and tasty, with just enough heat without being too spicy and warmed me up perfectly on a bone-chilling winter's day. The apple and cider crumble was top notch and the staff were very kind and thoughtful.

Found this place by accident, having taken a wrong turn. Lovely, bright and airy interior, VERY comfortable ambiance, super friendly and welcoming staff...and one of THE most beautiful young ladies behind the bar. The landlady is quiet special too. Free WiFi, free car parking in the street and opposite the pub. Decent menu (I didn't eat on this visit). From a personal perspective, there were too many dogs on my visit, but presumably, this will suit many? This venue also has a beer garden. Sensibly they have time restraints on evening closing, thus respecting their neighbours. Highly recommended.
What a fantastic pub. The owners are so friendly, the atmosphere is great. There is a nice garden with a play area for children. We had a party of eight including 4 children ages from 2-6yrs they ate all their food without a fuss. We are not from the area, but when we are back we will definitely eat here. I would definitely recommend this place!!
Bloody shocking service from 1 in particular waitress named Nikita or something alike. Rest were amazing and very polite as well as making us comfortable. To be told how our food should be served when the liver and bacon was served as a paste and then to not be let known till 5 minimum minutes later the chilli replacement would be a while and not a priority. Then a rude goodbye from said waitress means we will certainly not be going back. rest of the waitresses bravo! Attentive and quick.
Surprising Good food and beer selection. Recommended!!! Even our black Labradors loved it they got plenty of attention at the bar........
