Food was fantastic!!! We were giving the option of eat in or take away,or to sit outside in the garden. We opted for the takeaway choice as on a boat!! The landlady offered us a choice of having the food delivered on plates or in takeaway cartons. We opted for plates. Our food was delivered on the time we'd chosen. It was well presented and delivered piping hot. We also thought it was reasonably priced. As well as the plate option we were asked if we needed cutlery and giving a choice of sauce to compliment our meal. Definitely worth a visit while on the broads

Off the beaten track down the beautiful windy little roads of Surlingham. This quaint little pub by the river that's dog and child friendly too!! seating both inside and out. Amazing choice of food on the menu with the addition of a specials board too. All home cook food and great portions. Something for everyone. Also a roast dinner on a Sunday.. advisable to book in advance as it does get very very busy.. Friendly staff... Lots of parking.. and a great place for walks along the river, or just a little bit of time for yourself to chill and relax by the river watching the boats go past.they also have many different music/singers here too. don't forget always good to book first to save you any disappointment.

A great local pub, beautiful riverside location and lots of space at the moment. There were all the necessary precautions in place and we felt very safe. The food is good homecooked fare. The cheesecake on the pudding menu is homemade and delicious - highly recommended. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.

This place is a little gem. Extremely friendly and helpful and some of the best, if not the best home cooked pub food we have tasted. We were allowed to stay in our motorhome on the carpark and ehu is also available. The views and watching the boats passing or mooring up make it a perfect place to stop, eat and drink. Thanks Sonia and staff for making our first visit to Norfolk even better
