I would recommend booking before arriving for a Sunday roast as this place was absolutely buzzing! The soup of the day was melt in your mouth delicious and flavoured perfectly! We tried the chicken, pork and beef roasts. They were equally amazing. I preferred the chicken as it came with crispy skin. The pork came with wonderful crackling if that's your bag. You cannot leave here without having pudding. The brownie, cheesecake and toffee pudding were out of this world. The kitchen is on point with timing and the wait staff did them proud despite how busy it was. Lovely, warm, welcoming and worth a visit for sure. You won't regret it!
Loved the welcome and amazing food we had from Darren and the team, can't believe it's been a year since last going between moving away from the area and the pandemic! Felt very covid safe when we were there last and would definitely book as soon as restrictions are lifted and we visit Chester again
Very elegant and welcoming spot. They serve large meals and for inexpensive prices. We loved the meals very much and the staff were very friendly and chatty. Will definitely recommend this spot.
Gerties human here. The Faulkner bar and restaurant is great. Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely food. Only a couple of vegan options on the menu but what I had was absolutely delicious. (Mushroom Bourgignon with Truffle and vegan parmesan mash.) Great service, clean, warm friendly environment. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Chester.
