Maybe the best meal I've had in my entire life. Definitely in the top two. I've been to several 3-star restaurants, and you're paying for & expecting a particular level/type of service. The Fat Duck has mastered this & taken it to a new level. You're given a book to read on your 'journey', and a magnifying glass to better see the details in the food. It's definitely worth it to use both as it really does help with appreciating the food. I was there during the 25th anniversary (anthology one), so our meal was a sort of Best Of from the past 25 years. Wine pairings are also amazing, but even the non-alcoholic drink pairings (if you get those) are well thought out and delicious. 300/person/meal (paid in advance) 100 person for service charge and other extras.

Every person should at one time in their life, visit a top restaurant just to be wowed by its experience. The food confused and excited my senses, as i was sent on a culinary journey through Heston 25 year anniversary of the fat duck. Every one of the 11 courses was a magical delight, and the service impeccable. Thank you all for a experience never to forget.

Mind-blowing theatrical restaurant experience, even kept phenomenally exciting during a socially distanced time.

Snail porridge rocks. What a transporting experience. What an amazing story. We were flexible with our dining dates and times and we were lucky enough to get a table for 4. Not everyone was into the playful nature of their storytelling but the work that goes into researching and concocting each dish is phenomenal. Highly recommended.
