For two weeks running we have treated ourselves to a Sunday roast. Absolutely superb. Three huge slices of beef on a tower of vegetables with parsnips, roasties - fluffy in middle, crispy outside, green veg and cauliflower cheese. Topped off with a huge Yorkshire pudding. Sunday roast heaven! Superb service under Sarah's management. Yes, its not the cheapest in Horley but compares well with local gastropubs. The Farmhouse is privately run by Tracy and Mike with all the little touches of a friendly local so don't compare against corporate chain, the Farmhouse in a different league and excellent covid precautions in place. No room for pudding this week but last week treated family to brownie, key lime pie and millionaire cheesecake, all home made and bursting with flavour. The only issue is getting your roast, it sold out by 2pm last week and 4pm on Sunday so reserve your table and they will hold back roasts if you are eating later in the afternoon. The Farmhouse, Horleys best kept secret.!

Afternoon tea for my mum's 70th birthday. Table ready laid out & with balloons. Selection of sandwiches, really delicious scones and mini cakes. Service was spot on, with topped up tea, including green tea and peppermint which we requested. We ordered drinks after and had a really lovely afternoon
Sadly I was here for a wake last Friday. If the buffet food that we had is anything to go by, the food on the menu that I looked at will be excellent. The Timothy Taylor's Landlord was crystal clear with a great flavour. Good selection of wines. Staff were very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of outdoor seating and all Covid regulations were being observed and implemented.
The farmhouse is a fantastic pub, they always have been, and have done everything possible to be open, accommodating and friendly during the pandemic.
FANTASTIC pub! Great atmosphere and environment, and the food is yummy and in large sharing portions. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
