This pub has recently been renovated and has a nice ambience. The staff are friendly and hard working. The pub quizzes are particularly well organised. The management have implemented Covid measures well. The food is good and reasonably priced. The drinks are relatively pricy but Epsom is an expensive area in general. I consider it to be the best pub in the area.

Music gets much better the later you stay and drink

Go in there a lot during the day with my wife and baby, feel very safe and comfortable. In the evenings it's a great place to watch the footy. Only criticism is signs saying the volume is kept low on tvs so you don't have to shout for your safety, then the music is super loud so you have to shout...

What do you think the food in photos attached to this review is? If you said scrambled eggs, you are incorrect. That is the cheese inserted in between the many layers of our burgers. Before we even tried it, it just didn't look right. All of us scraped off as much as we could before we tortured our taste buds. The colour, texture, taste was unlike any cheese I've ever had. If spray can cheese is a thing...maybe it was this. For starters, we ordered some kind of a platter from which everything was frozen and deep fried. I get it's cheap pub grub but similarly priced pubs just aren't this bad. And it doesn't matter where you get a burger from, I've had burgers from the most questionable places stumbling home from a night out and I have never questioned the cheese within a burger until now.

First time here and best pub ever! They play music like your in a club and you don't get that in other pubs.
