Impromptu visit to this very nice pub, staff friendly, helpful wearing masks and adhering to social distancing rules. It was not busy and so not cramped with enough room to have reasonable space between other customers. I had Chicken, bacon and pea pie with cabbage and chips. Food was very good served promptly and hot. Recommended....

Great pub with garden down to river. Lots of outside and inside seating. Food very good as is beer
Okay, so this busy was in social distancing mode. The initial welcome was okay but could of been better. Drunks ordered.& paid for food menu was available on the website. Great! The website is shocking, beyond words, not even mobile friendly and the menu was difficult to find. The menu was very limited unless you like 'burgers' there was a specials board but nothing special on them! So burgers were ordered. The arrived quickly and I have to say they were very disappointing indeed. However, the sauce they came with and a little pot of the same to dunk your chips in was very nice. If you have ever been to Belgium it's like the sauce you get there - not to everyone's taste I might add. I usually take a picture of my food for theses reviews but unfortunately the presentation was not worthy of space on my phone! Overall: okay I guess if your 17-20 and like frozen food. Not for me though! Much improvement needs to be done here before a return visit.
Good food.. Variety of foods on the menu .. Quick service.. Hygiene cutlery and condiments out door tables.. Also indoor seating.. Children catered for.. Nice and professional staff..
Delicious food, friendly staff, family atmosphere and definitely coming back
