Absolutely go to this restaurant if staying in Aberfoyle. If staying at the MacDonald hotel, come here to eat. Much better food and service. I wish we discovered this little gem at the beginning of our trip. Do not hesitate. Social distancing in full effect. Warm, friendly staff & fantastic food. The drinks look good too but I was driving. Absolutely come here for a nice meal. My 12 year old daughter and I came here for dinner in August.

Nice wee pub in a lovely Village. Service was good, staff were polite and friendly. We never had something to eat. But what we did notice, was other people who were there having food looked well pleased. So all in a nice pub.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Very safe with the covid safety measures. We came back most nights during our stay. All the food and drinks were delicious, particularly recommend the steak pie and the rolo cheesecake. I would try to book if you can because it can get very busy (went in August). If we are in Aberfoyle again we will definitely return.
Nice food - but overall needs a little more imagination. Service was nice, and I can recommend the fish and chips, and steak pie. Some negatives: Pizza looked awful, scampi doesn’t come with any salad, and decor is way off. Sticky toffee pudding was decent, but was accompanied by a strange chemical tasting ice cream. Very safe with COVID-19 measures.
I didn't come here expecting to find the best macaroni and cheese and the best sticky toffee pudding I've had in all of the UK, but I did! They were amazing!! Friendly staff, dog friendly, and amazing food!
