Great evening. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It was great to see them pull together as a team to tackle the wind & rain from this evening. To see them work together and get it organised so quickly, was impressive. You're a credit to Cheltenham, well done. Thanks for having us.

The garden is great as we all know, the staff are polite and professional. Trying to catch their attention as they scurry past with heads down not wanting to catch the attention of customers is challenging. The food they do seems to be good, but terrible choice. Nothing for vegans and even vegetarians would struggle. The menú seems to be stuck in the 00s, great if Burgers, Chips and uninspriring salads are your thing. Come on Chefs, be adventurous! That you have to pay everytime your order something is a bit weird and very inconvenient. You feel obliged to order everything in one go. If you subsequently want to order a wine to accompany your meal, you'll first have to attract the attention of the staff then go through the rigmorale of paying for. It's very likely that by then you'll have finished your food and no longer want the wine. They'll use the pandemic as the excuse for this odd habit which I don't buy. Great place for the town's boozers, not so much for the foodies.

Fantastic selection of food, and a friendly set of staff. It's nice to see a place differ from the standard western cuisine of burgers and chips with less well known dishes, like the Thai beef that I had. I would recommend they change the hand sanitizer though, as the stuff they were stocking was a little too wet, and had a weird yeasty smell. Other than that a great place to eat in or out

I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, I had the 8oz rump steak with garlic butter, chips, roasted tomatoes & onion rings 15, it was juicy and cooked to perfection. 02/02/20

On route home we looked for a place to have a roast with the family as it was a Sunday and we wanted to end our weekend visit to Gloucester/Cheltenham with a nice meal. After looking on the internet we found this restaurant and was so blown away. Firstly, I’m a vegetarian and always dread finding a good equivalent to a Sunday Roast but was so pleased they had a vegetarian roast option which was Roasted Vegetable Wellington. My meal was the best ‘roast’ I have ever eat in a restaurant. My family ordered the beef and some ordering the lamb, enjoying every mouthful. The vegetables were brought out separately in dishes which was great so you could help yourself. Dessert was delicious and we will come here plenty of times again when I move for University in January!
