An interesting mix of pub/bar and restaurant....enjoyed the decoration. It is an spacious Italian restaurant, with a choice from a simple lunchtime menu or interesting al la carte. Plenty of free parking, and lovely garden area away frim the road. We were greeted by a broad smile and warm welcome, staff were attentive and charming. The music playing was gentle and thankfully wasn't too loud and could converse easily. Would go again.

Food, service, price great. I've been there five times recently, when staying in the area. Parking good, disabled friendly.
Great authentic Italian restaurant. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Not sure why it's called Elgar. Apart from a couple of pictures. No Elgar music. Just modern jazz. Elgar would have hated it but loved the food!
Excellent food. It was very quiet when we arrived, but soon livened up. Very friendly staff.
