Lovely pizza alfresco today. However just a pointer for next time - please don't put those style anchovies on a puttanesca pizza!!! It should be the salty cured brown ones on a pizza for that strong salty taste. Other than that lovely.

Great location great meal. A fair selection of food options and reasonably priced. Friendly service with young staff. Parking is close. Rural locations is pretty but by a main road. Might be tricky accessing with a wheelchair in the pub.

Absolutely lovely meal, popped in passing through. Wonderful staff, wonderful food and wonderful surroundings. Take a look at the images,I can assure you it was as nice as it looks. It's always a winner when your not familiar with an area and you eat out and it's very good. Thanks Egerton Arms.

Service and food great. Still offering 50% off certain meals during October. Looks like a good menu and shall definitely be visiting again next week.

A fantastic traditional country pub. Superb food and brilliant staff. Warm and cosy atmosphere. A very popular pub great for that special occasion or just to pop in for a relaxing drink. It is dog friendly has a small games room, is disabled access throughout, has large car park and traditional open fireplace. There is an outside play area and patio. Food is served 12.00 till 9.00pm with a takeaway service available till 9.30. The Egerton is very popular so I would recommend booking a table in advance especially Sunday.

Arriving late Sunday lunchtime, found a bustling pub with lots of families and groups with young children. The halloumi starter was nice enough, and while the pizza style garlic bread looked a bit pale, was soon scoffed. The belly pork cubes were crispy although the black pudding was dried. Rocket on everything! For mains, I had the fillet steak which was cooked as requested, but the twice cooked chips (isn't that how chips are supposed to be cooked?) were bland (and others going past looked the same) and the accompanying tomato unripe. The onion rings were nice. The Sunday roast dinner looked generous with a huge Yorkshire pudding on top. Burger went down well. Sausage and mash was ok, but the green beans were almost raw. Apple crumble for pudding was good. Service was ok. Overall pretty standard pub fare. Not sure I'd class as a gastro pub though, so perhaps a bit rich price-wise for what was delivered.
