I enjoyed a lovely vegan breakfast with coffee here. Good social distancing measures were in place, with outside seating in covered gazebos, plenty of hand sanitizer available, a one way system and careful considerate staff. It was a bonus to exit through the gift shop as that too was a delight! Would recommend and would love to come back again.

Stopped off here after a walk from Curbar Ridge. Really friendly helpful staff, they were working so hard keeping everything safe. All credit to them. Great coffee and cakes especially the treacle tart.
Top notch food, good quality and always tasty and fresh. They have very good set up to keep you safe from the virus. Clear waitress advising what we need to do. Love the gift shop too.
Truly delicious vegan kedgeree, the best pancakes my wife has ever tasted, and free top-ups for the filter coffee.
Visited The Eating House for the first time this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Although there was a little wait to get a table, it was well worth it as the service and food were both exceptional. In addition to this, all social distancing measures had been adopted above and beyond. If I ever find myself passing through Calver again, I will be sure to return.
