This was out of area for us so we were reliant on reviews, and weren't disappointed. Nice pub, friendly efficient staff, good menu at decent prices, and the food was very nice. We had the Earl's Platter for 2 - excellent. Good to see London Pride on tap - pity I was driving!

Wonderful location. Very welcoming staff who couldn't of done more for us. My better half had Steak and Ale pie which came with chips,wonderful gravy and a great selection of veggies. I myself had Fish and Chips with peas and tartare sauce. Both meals were huge and delicious. We shall be back without a doubt and are determined to sample the desserts. Many thanks. Update 05/03/2019 Went for Sunday lunch and once again the food was faultless. Tasty, plentiful and hot. Every one of our 4 person party was satisfied and very full. Thank you once more for a lovely meal.
Having a very slow journey back from Cornwall we decided to aim towards Salisbury for food. We couldn't have stumbled upon a nicer pub. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were terrific. Two very satisfied travellers!
Cosy pub, friendly staff, good food! Game casserole is delicious, and their fish and chips hits the spot.
