Went here in December around Christmas, when York was in tier 2 and we were allowed to go out to eat. Just wanted to say we had such an amazing time here. We were treated with such care and the friendliness of the staff went a long way in such strange times. It just felt really nice and authentic. The food... wow! Was absolutely stunning with healthy and hearty portions. We loved the scones too. My cousin who is vegan had the vegan flapjack with the purple flowers, he said it’s the best vegan flapjack he’s ever had. It was indeed super nice! Thank you and I hope you can be open again so we can pay another visit! :)

This lovely place makes you feel that you are having an English Breakfast like an English!
Just had a sandwich and a drink here. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The service was quick and when it arrived there was 3 sandwichs, salad and crisps. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you to all the staff.
Fantastic, location, setting, decor, staff. Food was marvellous. Reasonably priced. Can't recommend this place high enough.
It's Earl Grey! Good selection of teas and cakes. Airy and big inside, clean washrooms.
