What a fantastic place, real hidden gem. Warm fire, great feel, awesome food (burger and pizza were really tasty) and local pint of bitter. Service was excellent. Highly recommended

Service and coffee were great but all tables were reserved when we got there. It was lovely however to have our drinks outside on the bench, as the weather was gorgeous
Good service from beautiful girl behind the bar. And the food was good
Lovely little pub with a couple of nice beers on tap and sweet beer garden. A little off the beaten track but worth the trip. We stopped here on the way back from Grizedale Forest and having hired bikes from the Grizedale Mountain Bike Centre.
