Probably the best meal my fiancée and I have ever had. We went for the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was out of this world. Staff were absolutely lovey, and went above and beyond to welcome us, and help us celebrate my fiancées birthday. Would love to come again - once the bank balance has recovered

It was absolutely fantastic! I was in food heaven and the whole experience was perfect from start to finish. They had a whole vegetarian menu which made it extra special and I would recommend to anyone looking for a fancy, high quality meal. The vegetables were so fresh and some had been picked the same day!

Went here before they got their Michelin star, they were quite rude. Thinking about giving it another try, so I checked out their website. You’d think a Michelin star restaurant would keep their website up to date. They’re advertising the eat out help out scheme for August. But it’s mid Sept now and no mention of whether they’ve ended or extended it. I’m pretty disgusted that a presumably profitable business appears to be bragging about claiming money off the taxpayer. And about their well off customers getting 10 off their meal, courtesy of the taxpayer. “It’s great... to have part of the bill paid by Government!” So while the NHS and social care budgets have a massive hole, and people are losing their jobs and struggling to afford the most basic food, the type of people who eat at Michelin star restaurants are getting a bargain on the treasury budget. And the Michelin star business gets a boost from the nhs pot too. The food was fine. But I do NOT like this place.

Loved the whole experience. Great food and wine. Sensible Covid precautions. Impressive staff who were just the right side of attentive. It's a great location by the side of Richmond Park, you can see the deer grazing from the 1st floor restaurant section. Car park was an unexpected bonus.

Wonderful evening for a special occasion. The staff was very attentive, courteous and made the experience very warm. The room is lovely with it's real fireplace and well proportioned rooms. The dishes were amazing, with the jerusalem artichoke soup (starter) being the highlight, which we both had as starter. The main courses were pappardelle (a format of pasta and only veggie option) and venison. The pasta was delicious albeit not very filling whilst the venison was both wonderful and substantial. The pappardelle came with a meaty-like mushroom ragù and the venison could have easily been a Christmas lunch main course with its mulled wine sauce. The dessert was a crème brûlée with clementine and cardamom, which was fantastic, again perfectly in spirit with the festive season. The cheeses were nice but next time I'll opt for the dessert too. The house Malbec (Argentina) was very very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will go back myself. Next, I'll possibly be going for the tasting menu.
