What a fantastic place! It is not only tastefully decorated and cosy, but also has amazing food. The portions are massive and the lamb is to die for! The owner was behind the bar herself and it was great to chat to her to find out more about life in Lake District. We sheltered here for a couple of hours during a rainy afternoon and it made our day. I strongly recommend stopping by :)

A fantastic cosy pub, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the food was delicious, I recommend the Cumberland sausage of course. Lovely fireside tables and a great place for dog walkers/lovers to call in too. Highly recommended
Very friendly pub, great decor and felt homely and welcoming! Food was well priced and tasted delicious! We went with out two kids and two dogs and could have just spent all afternoon with a few drinks in front of the fire
Cosy atmosphere, awesome food and always a warm welcome, been a handful of times now and will be back
