Rather embarrassing to admit, having lived in the area for 30 years, but wasn't aware of this lovely traditional pub until last week. Happened to check for local events on Facebook, and their beer festival this coming weekend popped up. Well, that's Friday afternoon sorted
It's a Marston's pub - so beer not to everyone's taste. However, the place is good, clientele chatty, and staff great
Real ale pub very old fashioned needs an upgrade and doesn’t do food. Has sky sports and a friendly atmosphere.
