Just gone into the Duke Inn after 4 months without any contact with a pub. Staff are amazingly friendly and they have put in social distancing guidelines down to a tee. Best pint I've had in a long time so strongly recommend a visit

Lovely spacious pub with a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going again.
Friendly staff good beer nice garden no food though
I’ve always thought this looked like a nice pub as I passed over the years and there’s some nice seating outside where you can watch the world go by, as well as a sizeable garden at the rear. Unfortunately the interior isn’t quite as impressive and although pleasant enough could do with a refresh. The welcoming staff are wonderful though and I was made to feel welcome - ignore any ‘locals vibe’ you might initially get because the place is certainly friendly. There’s lots of TV screens throughout and there’s plenty of seating and tables, all of which was comfortable. I thought it was a nice place for a relaxing drink and I’d happily return!
Fantastic local .. great outdoor space
