Myself and my two sisters visited for lunch yesterday. Hadn't been here for a few years and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. We will definately be coming back. We are going to book for our annual Christmas get together. Looking forward to tasting the festive fayre. What a gem of a place.
Barman very attentive. I asked if we could have a tab, no problem. Had drinks went to order food, Landlady said to pay as they did not do tabs!! Food was very good, piping hot and tasty. Barman and young chef were very pleasant. Would recommend food and would go back.
Friendly service . Good portions and the carvery meat is tender. Highly recommend the duck inn burger
