Massive thank you to Tim and Becki who catered for our family wake yesterday lunchtime. We received a really warm welcome and all the food was laid out for our party to help themselves. Delicious homemade sandwiches and cakes with urns for tea and coffee. Despite the swealtering sun there was plenty of shade under the gazebos. Great choice of beers served by helpful staff. Perfect distance from the crematorium with plenty of parking. Would recommend the Duck Inn for anyone like us, looking for a venue for a wake. Thank you again.

Friendly pub, good genuine ideas during the current covid climate.
This review only applies to all the people that have made Adverse comments about the duck inn, I've known Tim and beci for many years and since they took ownership of the pub the effort and hard work they have put into turning the business around is second to non, the home cooked food is amazing the range of real ales and largers are as good if not better than you'll find else were . Tim beci and your team i take my hat of to you all for all your hard work that you have put into the pub over the past 10 years it's what i call a good old local pub which these days are hard to find . So anybody that make Adverse comments/ reviews have absolutely no idea what they are talking about as i believe if it wasn't for effort that you two have put into the pub it would no longer be there. Such a friendly and great pub. Excellent beers. Meat raffle has done us proud a good few times. Dogs and children welcome is a bonus
