First time I've been here and even though it was very busy due to The Eat Out To Help Out scheme, everything was brilliant. Our table was booked for 4 people at 6.00pm. The staff were amazing, especially the young lad who served us on table 11. We all had different meals and desserts and nothing was too much trouble. He was very polite and helpful and at no time did we feel rushed. It was all perfect and we all thought that the food was delicious. Good to see all staff wearing masks. Would love to come back, perhaps when it's a little less busy as it was very hot in the restaurant.

We loved it here. The service was excellent. We were seated originally next to some customers who were very loud indeed (we had no issue with this, it's a pub, people get loud, whatever no problem) but we were moved to a quieter corner of the place which I was really impressed with it was lovely. The food was mostly excellent, I had the mussels they were great, the creme brulee desert was out of this world, I'm glad we shared the portion was huge! The only let down was the paella, I tried a bit it was just tomato rice. Not exactly what we expected in comparison to the other dishes we had but we don't know much about paella so maybe we're wrong? Not sure. Anyway we will most certainly be back and I highly recommend it!

Booked it via google and they seated us outside in a gazebo it would be nice in the summer but it is October, it was a bit cold. The menu was also relatively limited, you better like burger or pizza. Staff were very nice though.

Went on Friday evening, lovely outside space. Food was great and presented well. Drink choice was really good too. I would say they need outdoor heating up maybe they don't have it out as it was meant to be hot but it was pretty chilly outside.

Fan of the Gloucester Old Spot so we thought we'd give this place a try too. Dog friendly, which is ideal for Vassels Park. Great pub. Well managed. Lovely food. Cosy atmosphere. Reasonable prices. If you've been and you like it - try Gloucester Old Spot, if you haven't been, give it a try!
