The Dough Thrower

Tried out these pizzas just before Christmas, really pleased with the service and pizzas/sides were really tasty. Ordered again this evening to be bitterly disappointed, we could barely cut it as it was so soggy, and couldn’t even eat it in slices as the lack of toppings were sliding off the pizza, pizza didn’t have any kind of structure, looked almost slapped dashed and wished we hadn’t bothered.

We have ordered from The Dough Thrower on multiple occasions over the last few months and have never been disappointed. The pizzas are absolutely delicious. This evening we had an El Matador, Mario's calzone and a NYC... if you're not sure what to order, these are amazing! Delivery is really fast and friendly. The website is very well designed with navigation thought with the customer in mind. All in all, it would be very hard to beat quality of the product and service, or price. The Dow Thrower is now our go-to option when we order pizzas. Thank you for another great experience!

I expected the dough to be pretty good, given the name. It's that delicious chewy dough fired in a pizza oven, with the slightly charred bits. Can confirm the crusts taste great the next day without even dipping them in anything. But I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the marinara sauce by itself, let alone the actual toppings. The whole thing had layers of flavour that are making me hungry just thinking about them now.
