The room was beautifully decorated and furnished tastefully with quality items. The beds are comfortable and the shower was amazing. The room and shower room was so clean and to our surprise was cleaned and replenished daily. We had a wonderful stay and there were local places to eat, and a Wetherspoon just opposite for breakfast. We found the owners Lillian and Rob very friendly and so kind and thoughtful. I would go definitely come back here and would love to spend more time in the area and with Lillian. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return. It is a lovely area and som to see and do.
My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had everything we needed in our self contained room, including a microwave, kettle etc and we ate given cubs and cutlery.. Our hostess was lovely and made us feel very welcomed and she was so helpful. We were close to two amazing National Trust gardens and some lovely countryside. A great choice of esting places and takeaways in the village. We will definitely visit again. Most rooms are for two but there is a spacious family room too, and very reasonable prices...
It's a public house. No food but many places within 2-3 minutes walk. Rooms are not huge but all en suite and they have a family room. Welcoming owner/staff, rooms clean, well equipped and away from the bar of the pub. No complaints from me.
Nice comfortable self contained rooms. No food served but the room has a kettle, fridge and microwave so at a punch you can make your own snacks and there is a Witherspoons across the road. The showers are hot and powerful and the beds a comfy. The owners are friendly and helpful too.
