The Depot has a really nice atmosphere. There are antiques all over the place and they are playing oldies on the sound system. The food is really good and the service is fast. I really enjoyed it.

It's small but packed with interesting decorations on the walls, hanging from the ceilings and most everywhere. The clam chowder was really delicious. There was nothing really special about the deep fried shrimp. The plates had a large bed of salad with a generous amount of shrimp on them and fresh cut fries. It wasn't nearly as tasty though, as the clam chowder, but the service was fine and the way the restaurant was decorated made it a pleasant dining experience.
So good. I love their fish and chips. They also have a great carrot and shrimp salad called the Bonnie. Only local place I know of to get fried oysters and fries as well.
The place to go when you're craving quality fish and chips but Newport is just too far...Oh and I really like that they support their local brewery \Deluxe\. Terrific on tap beers with the eats.
Very small place. I wouldn't eat inside way too tiny inside. I only do takeout. a little spendy but good food. Small portions
